This website was created to record the history of RNAS Burscough (HMS Ringtail) and to uphold the memory all those that served there, we hope you find it of interest and will come back again as we hope to continually update the information within the site. The site has followed on from the wealth of material that came forward for the memorial dedication that was held at Burscough on Sunday 10th of October 2004.

Hello,
whilst driving from Southport to Skelersdale (work) i passed the
airfield and recognised the hangers and then the memorial on the
roadside. Having no time to stop I noted the nearest town and then
found this website. Thankyou for your time and effort on behalf of
the serving members of this RNAS.
