Fairey Firefly Z2111 - 09/09/1944

On the 09th September 1944 Fairey Firefly No Z2111 of the Burscough Storage Section was coming into land when the hood jammed, the hood was jettisoned and damaged the port main tail, the aircraft was being flown by Sub Lieutenant G.C. Bremner RNZN.
