Fairey Firefly Z2038 - 11/09/1944

On the 11th September 1944 Fairey Firefly No Z2038 of No 1772 squadron was carrying out dummy deck landings and when on approach the engine failed and the aircraft force landed in a field, the aircraft was being flown by Lieutenant M.J.C. Wright.
