Fairey Firefly Z1986 - 29/05/1944

On the 29th May 1944 Fairey Firefly No Z1986 of No 1772 was carrying out dummy deck landings when the aircraft stalled causing the starboard wing to drop damaging the aircraft, the aircraft was being flown by Sub Lieutenant P.J. Kingston RNZN.
