Supermarine Seafire LR694 - 23/12/1943

On the 23rd  December 1943 Supermarine Seafire No LR694 of No 809 Squadron mistook water for the runway during bad weather, the aircraft burst a tyre and tore the rudder,  the aircraft was being flown by a Sub Lieutenant R.D. Wood.
