Blackburn Skua L3008 - 08/03/1944.

On the 8th March 1944 Blackburn Skua No L3008 of No 776 squadron suffered an engine failure on take off crashing into the sea off Southport Pier,  the aircraft was being flown by Mid Shipman G. I. Frazer who survived OK.
