On the 21st December 1943 Blackburn Skua No L2979 of No 776 squadron taxied into Supermarine Seafire No MB267, the aircraft was being flown by Sub Lieutenant C.R. Cartledge.

On the 28th December 1943 Blackburn Skua No L2979 of No 776 squadron landed with the undercarriage not locked down, the aircraft was being flown by Sub Lieutenant J.O. Jeromes.
