Grumman Tarpon FN883 - 24/10/1943

On the 24th October 1943 Grumman Tarpon No FN883 of No 3 Ferry Pilot Pool was being ferried and after a partial engine failure due to the failure of the No 9 piston the aircraft landed without further damage at 10:55 hours, the aircraft was being flown by Flight Officer  E. R. Pyatt who was uninjured.
